Tour Plan
All our excursions are personalized, private guide, boatman for all your unlimited excursions of your choice, from iquitos to the lodge first by car and then boat is 3 hours and 20 minutes.
In Iquitos, explore one of the best Jungle Tours 4 days/3 nights in the amazon of peru with your private guide, we will depart from your Hotel or the airport to our destination to the yanayacu lodge
Upon arrival, passengers will be welcomed and shown to their respective bungalows.
After getting settled in, we will embark on a short walk into the primal, seasonally flooded forest to learn about the biodiversity of our flora and fauna, medicinal plants, insects, primates, birds, reptiles, and more.
At night we will adventure by boat to spot bats, birds, tarantulas, caimans, frogs, etc..
Early activity by boat or canoe before breakfast, around a black water lake with your native Local Guides
Fishing for piranhas,and also searching for iguanas, sloths, monkeys, birds (such as cormorants, egrets, kingfishers), etc.
After lunch we will take a hike around the area for general sightseeing, searching for the smallest monkeys (Pygmy Marmoset) and observe Bullet Ants (which have the most painful bite on the planet), other insects and a sunset observation of the local wildlife.
At night we will take a leisurely walk to search for snakes, insects, spiders, frogs, tarantulas, etc., which are most active at that time.
We will have a full day on the Amazon, in search of iguanas and birds, walks on land in search of wildlife, and lunch in a village with one of the native families.
Lunch will be a chicken barbeque on an Amazon beach, (during low water season) where you will enjoy watching pink and grey dolphins play in the water.
Optional night boat ride or hike for further exploration.
Breakfast aboard the boat, while navigating and a jungle walk to search for wildlife and also several species of monkeys, like the Titi, Squirrel, Tamarins, and Capuchins, plus sloths and birds.
Back to Iquitos and transfer to your hotel or airport.
Amazon Wildlife Adventures wants you to enjoy your jungle trips in Peru to the fullest , so we recommend that you carefully read and obey the instructions before your reserve
• To make a reservation you must deposit a minimum of 20% of the total sale
• If you cancel the reservation, it must be within 48 hours before the arrival date. This process has a retention penalty of 20% of the total deposit. Outside this period, everything deposited is retained.
• If you make any changes to your flight itinerary, you must notify us in advance, otherwise we are not responsible and you must assume your own reception and transfer costs.
• All payments from abroad, have a 5% surcharge for International Transfer Tax
• All the food indicated in your itinerary is provided in the jungle. If you are allergic to any meat or if you are vegetarian, you must indicate it in the contract. Soft drinks and juices are not included in lunch and dinner.
• If you wish to leave the tour before the end of the contracted days, it will be under your responsibility and assuming your own river and land expenses (along with those of the guide).
• If you are a conflictive, negative, disrespectful and uncomfortable person to the other participants, you will be removed from the accommodation without the right to anything.
• The tours are guided in Spanish, if you wish to be guided in English you must indicate in this contract
• Tips are not included in payments, if you wish to do so, you do so of your own free will
• You should not make any extra payment, if required by the guide, you must communicate
• If you are a person with racist, classist attitudes, etc., and/or offend the guide, assistant or person part of the company staff, the tour will be terminated without any right to claim or refund.
• The company is not responsible for the loss of money or objects fallen into the river or forgotten in the farmers' house or at the campsite.
